2018 XS4-Apollo-type asteroid

2018 XS4 is an Apollo-type asteroid with a diameter of 26-59 metres. It was first observed at ATLAS-MLO, Mauna Loa on December 14th, and it made a close approach on December 16th, at a distance of 0.0071 AU (1.1 million km) from Earth. We observed 2018 XS4 at +16 mag. It was moving at a rapid 100 arcminutes per hour at that time, equal to the size of the full Moon in the sky about every 20 minutes. Currently observable at mag +17.2 and fading.
